Untold, Fujiyoshida

In Fujiyoshida, Japan, Akira waits beside a train with his suitcase, accompanied by Kettlr. Mount Fuji stands quietly in the distance. Yet there is a sense that this moment is about to end, that Akira is preparing to move beyond the edges of the painting, leaving behind a place we can see and heading toward a story we cannot.

‘Untold’ explores the stories we carry but rarely put into words: memories, emotions, and moments that remain with us long after we have left a place or a chapter of our lives behind. In this painting, the railway station becomes a threshold between presence and absence, between what is visible and what lies beyond the frame. Akira’s journey is not simply about reaching another destination, but about moving forward while carrying fragments of everything that came before.
