Akira, Between Departures

A moment between journeys, a space that is neither a beginning nor an end. Akira stands beneath a simple shelter in an empty desert, where the wind moves quietly through the stillness. Beside him, his vessel rests, paused and waiting. The vast openness reflects a slowing of time itself, a pause for reflection, for gathering thoughts, and for preparing to move forward once more.

Inside the vessel, Kettlr sits quietly, gazing out through the glass, a symbol of a connection that needs no words. The presence of someone who remains, even in the stillest moments. This work explores the meaning of being “in between,” both physically and emotionally, a space filled with possibility, uncertainty, and a quiet, gentle sense of waiting.
